If you're a University student and interested in attending GDC China in exchange for volunteering approximately 20 hours of work with a fantastic group of people, then apply for the GDC China Volunteer program!
GDC China 2013 runs from Sunday, September 15 through Tuesday, September 17. Volunteers have pre-conference assignments and a required orientation on Friday and Saturday, September 13 and 14. If you are accepted into the program, you are needed from the start of your Friday assignments through the end of the conference on the evening of Tuesday, September 17 so please plan accordingly.LOCATION

WHAT KIND OF WORK DOES THE JOB INVOLVE?

Challenging tasks (some might require advanced degrees) like:
- Attendee Registration
- Guarding doors, checking badges
- Monitoring conference sessions
- Assisting speakers in their sessions
- Checking badges during meals and special events
- Stuffing/Assembling conference bags
- Answer questions from attendees
- Data entry... And much more!
YOU WILL STILL BE REPONSIBLE FOR (BETTER NOT FORGET TO PLAN FOR THESE!):
- Travel expenses to and from the conference
- Hotel or housing expenses
- Food expenses except Lunch when on-duty
